Is it really free?
Yes. The only investment is your time and presence.
To keep intentions clear and transparent: about halfway through, Chad and Laura will both take a few minutes to extend a special invitation to the Connectors Summit, which happens all online December 9 to 11.
Is this for me if I don’t run my own business, or I work inside an organization?
Yes. Dan Pink wrote a whole book about this called To Sell Is Human. Maybe you work in learning and development, HR, or talent development, or in a completely different industry. Either way, if you don’t know how to market, sell, and position great facilitation and group experiences, your impact and your reach are limited.
And internal or external, your delivery is by far your best form of marketing.
Will I need to be on camera or join breakouts?
No. The last time we collaborated, more than 2,000 facilitators showed up live, so to keep the tech smooth there are no breakouts and you won’t be on camera. Come as you are, coffee and all.
How long is it, and what time is it for me?
It’s 90 minutes, live, on Tuesday, November 3: 18:00 in Berlin, 17:00 in London, 12:00 pm in New York, and 9:00 am in Los Angeles.
Will this be recorded?
No. A live experience is not the same as a recording, at least not the way Chad and Laura facilitate. It would be like inviting someone to see the Grand Canyon and hearing back, “Can you just send me a video of it instead?”
That said, we know time zones are tough and there’s only one sun. So we’ll do our best to send a short recap video with a few highlights to everyone who registers.
Do I need to be a “real” facilitator?
If you lead meetings, trainings, workshops, or classes, this is for you. Some of the best facilitators we know have never had the word in their job title.
How do I join on the day?
When you register, you get a calendar invite and the join link by email. On November 3, click the link a few minutes early. We start on time.
